Diego Armando Maradona JR (figlio del calciatore argentino D.A.Maradona) Nato a Napoli il 20 settembre 1986. Carriera da calciatore: Cresciuto calcisticamente nelle giovanili del Napoli, dove è rimasto per otto stagioni. Nell'agosto 2004 si è trasferito al Genoa, dove è stato aggregato alla squadra primavera allenata da Torrente.
Nel 2001 Maradona jr. ha esordito in nazionale under 17 disputando anche una gara amichevole contro la Nazionale maggiore, all'epoca allenata da Giovanni Trapattoni.
Diego è un ragazzo molto sensibile ma volitivo. Ha molto a cuore il problema della violenza e ama molto la sua città, Napoli.
Diego, intende con la sua testimonianza partecipare a questa iniziativa di sensibilizzazione sociale, poichè crede che con volontà e sacrificio si possano raggiungere grandi traguardi!
La violenza in tutte le sue forme è un muro da abbattere e spetta ai giovani gettare le fondamenta per una società tranquilla e serena".

BIOGRAPHY
Diego Junior was a result of the affair between Maradona Sr. and a young Neapolitan woman, Cristina Sinagra.

From his birth he has been brought up with a passion for football and started playing early on, and already at an early age he showed great skills, emulating the likes of his famous father. He first met his father in 2003, in the course of a golf tournament in Rome. Maradona Junior played at the youth levels for Napoli, and then Genoa, before to join Cervia, a team of the Eccellenza division of Emilia-Romagna (6th level of the national league system), which was subject of a national reality show, named Campioni - Il sogno. He then joined Internapoli, from Eccellenza of Campania, in January 2006, after having been without team for the first half of the 2005/2006 season. He then joined Quarto, another club of Campanian Eccellenza, after having been without team for the beginning of the 2006/07 season.[1] Despite having played in the Italian Under 17 soccer team at age of 14, Maradona Jr today seems to be just a good minor league player. His greatest hope is to play at the famous Barcelona stadium Nou Camp, just like his father did.
